Our locations feature allows you to create as many locations as your business needs. Simply assign them to your employees and when they go to punch in they’ll be able to select the location they are working from for that shift. The time spent at each location will show up on their time card as well as in your reports.

Easily run a report based on a specific location and then export that time to Excel CSV or PDF format. You have the flexibility to run reports on multiple locations if needed. Associate Departments With Location
Are you a business owner looking to track Locations and a specific Department or Job Code? Easily associate your Locations with Department Codes that you have created. When an employee goes to punch in, they will be able to select their location as well as the particular job they are working on. Time spent at each location and department code will show up on the employees and be reflected on your reports.
Why Use Time Clock Locations?
When we created Buddy Punch, we wanted it to be a real-time timekeeping solution that completely overhauled systems still relying on physical timesheets to track employees. As we expanded our own workforce size and got feedback from other business owners, we noticed that GPS tracking and location related features were high on the priority list for companies of all sizes. Locations are a time clock feature lets you control where your employees are clocking hours from, ensuring they’re actually at the job site when and where they claim to be. Want to allow management to take more control of their employees are their time cards? Our Managers feature can help you achieve that. Upgrade any employee to a manager and give them either View or Approval access for those that report to them. View allows them to merely view their employees time cards where as Approval access allows managers to make edits to the employees information. You decide how much control you want to give to a manager over their employees.
